Village of Fredericktown Office Reopens May 4

The Village of Fredericktown office, located at 2 E. Sandusky Street, will reopen on Monday, May 4th at 9:00 AM. As the Village office reopens, the threat of COVID-19 remains a reality. The Village of Fredericktown is dedicated to protecting both our employees and the public. We still ask the public to conduct business remotely as much as possible. In lieu of coming into the Village office, customers may continue to pay their utility bill by mail, auto deduct on the fredericktownohio.net website, or at the dropbox in the alley east of the Municipal Building.

If business must be conducted in person, rest assured that the Village is taking precautions for the safety of all employees and customers alike. Employees in the Village office will be wearing protective masks and plexiglass dividers have been installed on the counter. There will be frequent disinfecting of workspaces and common areas.

The Memorial Day parade and festivities scheduled for May 25th have been cancelled due to directives provided by the Governor.

Village Council is holding a Council meeting on Monday, May 11, 2020, at 2 E. Sandusky St., at 7:00 P.M., in the Senior Citizen’s Center adjacent to the Municipal Building. Council and everyone attending will be practicing social distancing and Council and staff will be wearing protective masks.

Thank you for your ongoing efforts in helping to stop the spread of the COVID-19.

Mayor Jerry L. Day
