A Complainant advised that her mother received a letter in the mail from the Ohio Department of Taxation stating someone had used her social security number to file a tax report. The Complainant advised that she wanted it documented. Advice was given and a report was made on April 26th, 2020.

A Complainant advised of a suspicious vehicle with an open door sitting near Tilden Avenue. When Deputies arrived, they found Stephen Frost Jr, of Mount Vernon, sitting in the abandoned vehicle. During the investigation, a needle was found. Frost was issued a summons in lieu of arrest for drug abuse instruments on April 26th, 2020.

A Complainant advised that the suspect, Anthony Stepp, of Howard, and a victim was engaged in a domestic violence situation. Stepp was arrested and transported to the Knox County Jail without incident on April 25th, 2020.

A victim stated that she was punched in the face by her live-in boyfriend, breaking her nose. Kevin Kidd, of Utica, was arrested on a parole violation and charges were accepted for felonious assault on April 24th, 2020.

A stolen vehicle was located on Broadway Street. The vehicle went mobile and was stopped by Knox County Sheriff’s Office Detectives. The two occupants, Ronald Fowler and Dalton Smith were arrested and found to be in possession of illegal drugs and drug abuse instruments. The vehicle was towed to the Knox County Sheriff’s Office on April 24th, 2020.
