Matthew Woody, of Mount Vernon, was placed under arrest for disorderly conduct on August 20th, 2019.

A victim advised that he purchased an iPhone and last Wednesday he discovered it missing. He attempted to locate it and came to the conclusion that someone had stolen it on August 13th, 2019.

Deputies made contact with two individuals sleeping on a picnic table in Gambier. The individuals identified themselves and Shanna Taylor, of Zanesville, was found to have an outstanding warrant issued out of Muskingum County. Jason Tucker, of Zanesville, gave consent to search their property. Drug paraphernalia and a crystal substance in multiple tin foil wraps that field-tested positive for methamphetamine was located. Both parties were charged with aggravated possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia on August 20th, 2019.

Tyler Kirkpatrick, of Mount Vernon, was cited for disorderly conduct when he was riding her bicycle and swerving. Kirkpatrick admitted to being intoxicated and was given a ride home on August 20th, 2019.

A complainant reported his restaurant was burglarized. A safe containing $300.00 was taken and there was forced entry into the building on August 18th, 2019.

Amanda Webster, of Zanesville, was stopped for a traffic violation by Sheriff’s Deputies. A Sheriff’s Office canine was deployed around the vehicle and gave a positive indication. A search revealed numerous used hypodermic syringes with residue and other drug paraphernalia. Webster was issued a summons for possession of drug abuse instruments and possession of drug paraphernalia. Michael Webster, of Zanesville, was a passenger in the vehicle and was arrested on a statewide felony warrant out of Licking County on August 19th, 2019.
