Knox County Sheriff’s Report – Aug 14, 2019

A victim called to report that unknown person(s) removed a Briggs and Stratton power washer from their back yard between August 9th, 2019, and August 11th, 2019.

A complainant advised that their neighbor was throwing eggs at their house. Deputies arrived and spoke with both parties. Photographic evidence was collected, written statements were filled out by both parties involved and Terry Frazee, of Howard, was written a summons in lieu of arrest for criminal mischief on August 13th, 2019.

Scott Vance, of Gambier, was observed driving in the area of the square in Mount Vernon. A LEADS check was conducted and it was confirmed that Vance had an active felony warrant out of Richland County Common Pleas Court. Vance was stopped and arrested on August 12th, 2019.

Brittany Wheeler, of Mount Vernon, was observed operating a motor vehicle with a suspended driver’s license. A traffic stop was conducted by the Mount Vernon Police Department and she was arrested for a probation violation. James Duncan, the passenger of the vehicle, was issued a summons in lieu of arrest along with Ms. Wheeler for possession of drug abuse instruments on August 12th, 2019.
