Beginning in 2019 the Ohio Legislature has provided a permanent sales tax holiday. The 2019 sales tax holiday will begin Friday, August 2nd at 12:01 a.m. and lasts until Sunday, August 4th at 11:59 p.m. The following items are exempt from sales tax during the holiday:- Clothing priced at $75 per item or less;
- School supplies priced at $20 per item or less; and
- School instructional materials priced at $20 per item or less
