Knox County Sheriff’s Report – May 17, 2019

Jonathan LaRue, of Mount Gilead, was arrested on outstanding warrants out of the Mount Vernon Municipal Court on May 17th, 2019.
Dispatched advised of an individual lurking around the storage units at M&M Storage in Mount Vernon. Scott Callaghan, of Mount Vernon, was identified and discovered to have warrants out of Delaware County. He was transported to the county line without incident on May 16th, 2019.
A complainant, of the 6000 block of Bishop Road in Centerburg, advised that someone representing a credit company deceived her in raising balances on two credit cards on April 3rd, 2019.
Deputy was dispatched to Kenyon College Safety on found drugs. The drugs were seized and placed into evidence for destruction on May 16th, 2019.
A victim, of Berlin MA, called to report that items were stolen from his vehicle in Gambier on May 15th, 2019.
A van was observed sitting in the roadway obstructing traffic on East Brooklyn Street in Gambier. The owner could not be located so the vehicle was towed to clear the traffic hazard on May 16th, 2019.
