What: Video Premiere of “Be a Parent, Not a Friend” and Communities Talk event

The Knox Substance Abuse Action Team (KSAAT) and the Teen Advisory Council (TAC) invite you to attend the premiere of “Be a Parent, Not a Friend”. The event will be held Wednesday, April 24 at 6 p.m. at the Woodward Opera House Recital Hall. The meeting is open to the public; an RSVP is requested.
“Be a Parent, Not a Friend” is a vision of the Teen Advisory Council (TAC). TAC students identified alcohol abuse a problem of practice among their peers. With this knowledge, they created characters and wrote a script. TAC students participated in lead roles, supporting cast as well as assisting with the production of this PSA.
The event will also include a discussion about the 2017 PRIDE survey results and KSAAT members will report on KSAAT’s current programs and plans for 2019.
