We are hiring a Service Assistant/Lot Manager! This position is ideal for someone with previous heavy equipment experience and a desire to further their career in the field. Advantage Ag and Equipment is a family owned and operated New Holland dealership. We pride ourselves in our ability to serve not just New Holland and agriculture customers, but homeowners, construction companies, and people who own different brands of equipment.
An ideal service assistant/lot manager would have knowledge of general mechanics and a background in operating heavy equipment. This role will consist of making sure equipment is placed on our lot neatly and in a presentable manner, making sure all equipment is clean, assisting technicians when needed, pre-staging equipment for pick-up or delivery, making sure equipment is ready for photos, and prepping equipment to be worked on.
Job Description includes but is not limited to:
– Providing assistance to service technicians
– Cleaning equipment before being serviced if necessary
– Making sure equipment is ready to be delivered to customer
– Rearranging and organizing units on the lot
– Working with sales and marketing to make sure used units are clean and ready to be photographed
– Moving equipment to be serviced
– Helping keep the shop clean and organized
– Operating Heavy Equipment
Preferred Skills
– Ability to lift over 50lbs
– Previous experience operating heavy equipment
– Mechanical knowledge and a desire to further career in heavy equipment.
