A complainant, of Grandview Drive in Mount Vernon, advised that Brandon Styndl, of Mount Vernon, was intoxicated and was being physically abusive towards her. Deputies responded to the scene and Styndl was arrested for domestic violence on December 26th, 2018.

A complainant, of the 4000 block of Veatch Road in Martinsburg, reported that her mother had been scammed by a male that she was talking to online. Her mother had met a male online going by the name of Tony Brooks and she had sent him several hundred dollars in Amazon gift cards. Tony evidently lives in California and he set up an AT&T cell phone account and a new phone. The victim signed for the phone and Tony was to visit and get the phone. The victim found that the phone and service plan were taken out using her credit card. the complainant stated that they needed a report to provide AT&T with to get the incident resolved. The incident occurred on November 25th, 2018.

A victim came to the Sheriff’s Office to report that the had picked up a screw in one of his vehicle’s tires while driving in the area of Apple Valley Drive on December 25th, 2018.

A victim, of the 9000 block of Killduff Road in Gambier, called the Sheriff’s Office to report that she had been victimized by someone making online purchases by using her Kroger Mastercard on December 24th, 2018.
