On September 24th, the Fredericktown Police Department along with one K9 unit from the Danville Police Department, one from Mount Vernon Police Department and three from the Ohio State Highway Patrol conducted a check of the Fredericktown Middle & High School for illegal drugs.
The K9’s are trained in detecting and alerting to the scent of illegal drugs. The K9’s sniffed lockers, book bags, and vehicles on school grounds. No illegal items were discovered during the check.
