Knox County Sheriff’s Report – Sep 24, 2018

A complainant, of the 12000 block of Old Mansfield Road, advised that they were cutting down trees when Amber A Miray, of Mount Vernon, was fired a shot into the air in the direction of the complainants. Witness statements were collected and Miray was arrested on September 21st, 2018.
Travis G Miller, of Mount Vernon, was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of the Mount Vernon Municipal Court. Contact was made with his Probation Officer and she advised that she was pacing a probationary holder on Miller as well on September 21st, 2018.
A traffic stop was conducted on Jahmod L Briggs, of Columbus. Marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia was seized from the vehicle. Briggs was cited for driving under suspension (12-point) and was issued minor misdemeanors for possession of marijuana and possession of marijuana paraphernalia on September 21st, 2018.
A vehicle was located parked close to the roadway in such a manner that it was interfering with traffic. The vehicle was towed from the roadside on September 22nd, 2018 and is awaiting claim from it’s registered owner.
