Robert Half is seeking a success-driven candidate for a High-level Medical Assistant Opportunity with one of our fortune 100 healthcare partners in Centerburg. The Medical Assistant will work with two physicians and a nurse practitioner. Medical Assistants are required to do scribing with the clinician which requires the ability to learn the basics of pain management. Medical Assistant will be working directly with patients, this job requires follow up on phone calls and completing tasks as assigned by the clinician and/or supervisor. Requirements:
• Minimum requirements include a Medical Assistant diploma, prefer CMA
• Must be a credentialed clinical medical assistant at the time of full-time or become a credentialed clinical medical assistant within 12 months of full-time. Credentials accepted include: AAMA Certified Medical Assistant, NHA Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, NCCT National Certified Medical Assistant, AMT Registered Medical Assistant, and NAHP National Registered Certified Medical Assistant. Once credentialed, credentials must be maintained in good standing.
• Must be able to travel to Indianapolis on occasion
• Experience in a clinical practice setting is preferred.
• Experience with an electronic medical record preferred.
• This position requires individuals who are able to multitask in a high paced setting and are able to communicate well with others.
• Good listening skills are a must and the ability to work in a team setting is a must.
• Responsibilities will include completing assessments for patients and documenting in an electronic medical record.
