The FCFD would like to congratulate Lt. Kevin Suain on his recent passing of the Ohio Firefighter II class at the North Central Ohio Fire Training Academy in Mount Gilead. He began this course back in January, attending multiple times a week on his own time to attain the highest fire certification in the state. It has been a goal of his for the last five years to go from FFI and transition to FFII.
Lt. Suain is highly active with our department while balancing work and family time during the first quarter of 2018 he still was able to respond to 58% of the 60 incidents that the FCFD responded to. During 2017 he responded to 67% of all calls. He is a firefighter, diver, assistant with the Fire Cadet Program, and always eager to be involved with the work.
