Counterfeit Money and More Recovered by Knox County Sheriff’s Office

It’s been a hell of a week for the Knox County Sheriff’s Office. Great work guys!

During a stop yesterday, with the assistance of a drug dog from MVPD, Sheriff’s Office Detectives recovered $3264, over $500 in counterfeit money, 86.2 grams of methamphetamine, various pills, another baggie of white powder believed to be fentanyl (not pictured for officer safety), three guns with ammunition and various other drug-related items.

As part of another ongoing investigation, the Sheriff’s Office intercepted 240 grams of methamphetamine.
