Dirty Dog Rehab Pet Salon in Fredericktown is now seeking a part-time grooming assistant. We are a looking for a permanent addition to our caring, hard-working dog grooming team. This is an entry level position ideal for someone who wishes to pursue a career in the grooming industry.
As a grooming assistant at Dirty Dog Rehab, you will be:
-washing and blow-drying dogs using professional equipment
-trimming toenails
-brushing and combing out dogs in preparation for trimming
-completing daily cleaning duties
Qualifications:
-Positive attitude and willingness to learn
-Confidence in handling all sizes and breeds of dogs
-Must enjoy working as a team to complete a list of challenging tasks in a timely manner
-Must be able to lift 60lbs unassisted and stand for the majority your shift
This is NOT a temporary position. Grooming Assistant must be able to work Mondays 9am-5pm and Wednesdays 10am-6pm. Starting pay is $8.15 per hour, plus tips, with raises based on performance.
