Culvert Replacements on US 36 in Knox County

Work to begin on Monday, June 19

Beginning Monday, June 19, US 36 in Knox County will be closed at multiple locations while ODOT crews work on replacing culverts in the area. Work hours will be from 7:00AM to 3:30PM daily, however, the road will be closed to through traffic for the duration of the project. For a detour, motorists can use SR 229 west to SR 656 south, to SR 314 south and reverse. The project is expected to be completed by the end of the day Friday, June 30.

  • Monday, June 19 – Wednesday, June 21: Closed between Fairview Rd. and Keys Rd.
  • Wednesday, June 21 – Friday, June 23: Closed between Johnstown Rd. and Thayer Rd.
  • Monday, June 26 – Tuesday, June 27: Closed between Pleasant Valley Rd. and Kinney Rd.
  • Tuesday, June 27 – Friday, June 30: Closed between Johnstown Rd. and Thayer Rd.
