Governor DeWine Approves $3.6 Million in Violence Against Women Act Grants

(COLUMBUS) – Ohio Governor Mike DeWine today announced over $3.6 million in funding to reduce violence against women in Ohio.

NIH Announces $1 Million Prize Competition to Develop New Maternal Health Diagnostics

THE CDC HAS APPROVED PEDIATRIC DOSES OF THE PFIZER-BIONTECH VACCINE AGAINST COVID-19 FOR KIDS AGES 5 TO 11.

Knox Community Hospital is offering the 2-dose vaccine for children in its Pediatric Services Department in the Wright Family Medical Pavilion.

According to Margaret Somple, DO, a pediatrician with KCH, the American Association of Pediatrics recommends COVID-19 vaccination for all children and adolescents 5 years of age and older who do not have contraindications using a COVID-19 vaccine authorized for use for their age.  … Read full story
