January 3
• Units were dispatched to the 400 block of East Pleasant Street, Mount Vernon, Ohio.
• Units were dispatched to the 500 block of West Vine Street on a report of a 911 hang-up.
• Units were dispatched regarding a theft that had occurred the day prior in the 800 block of Coshocton Avenue. This incident is currently under investigation.
January 6
• An officer took a theft report at the Dollar General at 855 Coshocton Avenue Suite N.
January 7
• An officer responded to North Gay Street in reference to a disturbance. Shawn Caudill was subsequently arrested and charged with criminal trespass. Shawn was also issued a summons for disorderly conduct.
• Units were dispatched to the 100 block of Ames Street, Mount Vernon, Ohio, on a report of an assault.
