Offenses

March 22
Units were dispatched to Coshocton Avenue, a building for a domestic dispute. A report was taken. An investigation is pending.

An officer responded to a male walking in the middle of Mulberry Street near West Burgess Street.

Units were dispatched to East Vine Street in reference to a domestic violence incident. A report was taken and will be sent to the appropriate prosecutor.

An officer was dispatched to a disturbance on Prospect Street. Upon arrival, the officer made contact with the involved parties. A report was taken for documentation purposes.

March 23
An officer spoke with an individual on a recorded line in reference to a theft. The stolen item was recovered and returned to its owner. This case will be sent to the Prosecutor’s Office to be reviewed for criminal charges.

March 24
Units were dispatched to North Rodgers Street for a threats complaint. A report was taken. Nothing further.

March 25
Units were dispatched to East Hamtramck Street for two juveniles fighting. A report was taken. Nothing further.

March 26
An officer stopped to speak with a female at Town Center, 670 North Sandusky Street, regarding a hand-to-hand drug transaction that the officer observed. An investigation is pending regarding the incident.

Units were dispatched to the 400 block of East Pleasant Street for threats made. A report was taken. Nothing further.

Officers were dispatched to Monroe Street for a domestic violence. Michael Burson was arrested and charged with domestic violence and assault. He was transported to the Knox County Jail where he was left in their custody and care.

An off ocer was flagged down about a possible domestic disturbance. The officer made contact with the involved parties at a business on Coshocton Avenue. After an investigation, Dakota Starr was arrested and charged with domestic violence and assault.

Found property was turned in to the Mount Vernon Police Department. It was placed into evidence for destruction.
