Former MVMS Teacher Pleads Guilty to Sex With Student

Andrew Walsh, 36, of Mount Vernon, today entered a guilty plea to sexual battery for engaging in sexual activity with a former Mount Vernon Middle School student.
Walsh had been employed at MVMS as a gym teacher. Upon entering the guilty plea, Judge Richard Wetzel revoked his bond and he will be held in the Knox County Jail until his sentencing on April 29.
