TSA Prepares Operations for Peak Summer Travel Demand

WASHINGTON – The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) continues to ramp up and refine operations for expected increased passenger travel volumes in advance of the Memorial Day holiday weekend and throughout the summer months.

“As we head into a summer where we hope to see a tremendous reemergence of domestic travel and the economic prosperity that travel brings, I’d like to highlight the incredible work of the men and women of TSA, who have been working on the front lines throughout the challenging pandemic,” said Secretary Mayorkas.

Attorney General Yost Issues Annual Ohio Missing Children Clearinghouse Report

(COLUMBUS, Ohio) — Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost today released the 2020 Ohio Missing Children Clearinghouse Report, in recognition of National Missing Children’s Day, which occurs annually on May 25.

“When a child is reported as missing, we rely on law enforcement officers to locate and reunite the child with their loved ones – a mission that requires quick thinking and compassion,” Yost said.

AG Yost Secures Victory for Ohioans in Settlement with Census Bureau Data Lawsuit

 

(COLUMBUS, Ohio) — Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost has reached a settlement agreement in his lawsuit against the U.S. Census Bureau that binds the Bureau to release the population data relevant to Ohio’s upcoming redistricting process by August 16.

The settlement comes less than a week after the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals held that Ohio had standing to sue the Bureau for illegally delaying the release of this data.Read full story
