New Websites Aim to Educate People about Opioid Addiction

In 2018, more than 2 million Americans will suffer from addiction to prescription or illicit opioids.opioid crisis article

The White House recently launched two websites: CrisisNextDoor.gov and Opioids.gov, as part of an effort to address the nation’s ongoing epidemic.

Opioids.gov educates the public about the causes of the epidemic and the steps the government will take to fight overprescribing, stopping the flow of illicit opioids and making it easier for everyone to get treatment.

Mount Vernon Open Enrollment

Mount Vernon City Schools Open enrollment applications for the 2018-2019 school year will be accepted online only.  Both current and new Open Enrolled Students will be required to enroll through the online registration process.

Parents who are Open Enrolling students to the Mount Vernon City School District must create a  “OneView ” account by selecting the parent icon at the top of the district website and then selecting OneView Parent Portal.
