KCSO & Prosecutor Shut Down Clinton Twp. Drug House

Knox County Sheriff’s Deputies executed a search warrant last night in Clinton Township and arrested a parole violator who was found with drugs. This morning the Prosecutor’s Office went to Common Pleas Court and received a temporary injunction to have the house boarded up, alleging that the owner knowingly allowed the premises to be used for drug sales and as temporary housing for felons.

Audit Finds Newton Local School District Superintendent Misused District Credit Card

Columbus – Auditor of State Keith Faber today released the 2018-2019 audit of Newton Local School District (Miami County), which issues a $2,070 finding for recovery against Superintendent Pat McBride for misusing a district credit card.

“In order to maintain the public’s trust in government it is vital that any expense of public dollars be for a designated public purpose,” Auditor Faber said.
