K9 Officer May Assists in Poaching Bust

Along with her handler, Huron County Wildlife Officer Nathan Kaufmann, and State Wildlife Investigators Kelsey Brockman and Kevin Good, both assigned to the Lake Erie Unit, K9 May was recently conducting waterfowl hunting enforcement along the shores of Lake Erie. Governor DeWine Orders Review of Child Welfare Cases in Montgomery County

(COLUMBUS, Ohio)—Earlier today, Ohio Governor Mike DeWine received notice of an infant fatality in Montgomery County. The case contained numerous similarities to that of Takoda Collins, a ten-year-old boy from Dayton who died on December 13, 2019. Takoda passed away roughly 19 months after his alternative response case was closed by Montgomery County Children Services.  Read full story
