2018 Community Foundation Scholarship Application Available, Due March 1st

The Community Foundation of Mount Vernon & Knox County’s Universal Scholarship Application for both traditional and non-traditional students is now available online at https://mvkcfoundation.awardspring.com. The 2018 submission deadline is March 1, with scholarship announcements in May.

Starting this year, the Universal Scholarship Application is only available through the online scholarship platform, AwardSpring.

Zika Infection During Pregnancy May Disrupt Fetal Oxygen Supply

Zika virus infection appears to affect oxygen delivery to the fetuses of pregnant monkeys, according to a small study funded by the National Institutes of Health.
