The Knox County Sheriff’s Office, with assistance from the Knox County Coroner’s Office and the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation, are investigating the death of a one-month-old infant. These quarter-sized jellies pose no risk to people; their nematocysts (stinging cells) are too small to penetrate the skin. Freshwater jellyfish originate from China and first appeared in the Great Lake region in 1933.

was charged with hypodermic possession and with possessing drug abuse instrument on September 15th, 2017.
