Alayna Arnal and Preston Owen have applied and been chosen to participate in the All-Ohio Youth State Fair Choir this summer July 21-August 7.
Five days before the opening of the Ohio State Fair, the select, 200-voice Choir meets at the Ohio Expo Center in Columbus and launches into a rigorous schedule that includes vocal training; sessions on vocal health; part, sectional and full rehearsals; solo auditions; and marching instruction.

Attorney General Yost Opens Application Process for Drug Use Prevention Grants for Next School Year

 

(COLUMBUS, Ohio) — Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost is accepting applications for $2.66 million in grant funding for local law enforcement agencies to provide drug use prevention programming to schools during the 2022-23 academic year.

The annual Drug Use Prevention (DUP) Grant Program pays up to 50% of salaries for DARE-certified officers and school resource officers (SRO) who provide in-class instruction and direct counseling.Read full story
