Ohio State Highway Patrol to Implement Operation T.R.I.A.D.D. in Partnership With the Columbus Police Department

COLUMBUS – Troopers with the Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) will be joining the Columbus Police Department to target reckless, intimidating, aggressive and distracted driving behaviors with a concentrated effort in Central Ohio.  

Operation T.R.I.A.D.D. was implemented on February 1, 2017 to deter aggressive and dangerous driving on Ohio’s roadways through collaborated target enforcement and public awareness so as to reduce traffic fatalities and encourage a safe driving environment for all motorists.  Read full story

Attorney General DeWine Seeks Consumer Restitution from Home Contractor Accused of Failing to Deliver

(WASHINGTON COURT HOUSE, Ohio)—Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine today announced a consumer protection lawsuit against a Jeffersonville man accused of failing to deliver promised home improvement services to consumers in Fayette County and Clinton County.

Debate Team Qualifies Nine to State Tournament

The Speech and Debate Team is excited to once again represent MVHS at the Ohio High School Speech League’s State Finals in Berea on March 3-4. Representing the Yellow Jackets this year are:

– Conrad Stein & Ethan Buehrer in Public Forum Debate,
– Zach Broeren & Charlie Mayville in Congressional Debate,
– Curtis Erlandson in Extemporaneous Speaking
– Makenzy Groom in Dramatic Interpretation
– Mehmet-Ali Schubel in Humorous Interpretation

Students had to qualify at the district tournament held at Napoleon High School last Saturday.
