Mount Vernon High School Cheerleading Competition Squad stepped out onto the mats as rookies and left knowing that they have started a new legacy for all to come.
The Jackets were not only rookies as this was their inaugural year in the Ohio Principals State Game Day Competition but nine of the 14 girls representing the Jackets are freshmen.
