The following is a list of streets to be swept. The Street Department is asking for cooperation from residents in having their automobiles moved on the day their street is scheduled for sweeping. Next week’s schedule is as follows:

The Village will no longer be collecting leaves with the leaf vacuum this season and truck but if residents bag their leaves, we will have a local gardener collect bagged leaves. As of Thursday, November 29, 2018 leaf pick-up in the City of Mount Vernon was completed.

A precautionary boil advisory has been issued due to possible pressure loss during Edgewood Road water line repairs on 10-23-2018. This area includes the Edgewood Road and Route 229 intersection, as well as the neighborhood Southeast of that location.
