Offenses

January 18
An officer was dispatched to East Vine Street for a vandalism. A report was taken.

an officer was dispatched to Franklin Street in reference to a theft. Nothing further at this time.

An officer was dispatched to a fight on West Vine Street. A report will be forwarded to the Juvenile Prosecutor to review for charges.

An officer was dispatched to a disturbance on Newark Road. The report will be on file.

an officer was dispatched to East Curtis Street in reference to a theft. Nothing further at this time.

Units were dispatched to the Police Department to take a report on a person being stalked. A report was taken. An investigation is pending.

Units were dispatched to 1330 Coshocton Avenue, Knox Community Hospital – Emergency Room, for a patient causing a disturbance. The patient was arrested and transported to the Knox County Jail without issue. Nothing further.

January 19
An officer was dispatched to Shirley Avenue in reference to found narcotics on the roadway. Nothing further at this time.

January 20
An officer was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a shoplifting. The subject was issued a summons. Nothing further at this time.

Units were dispatched to the 200 block of Ames Street in reference to a threats call. This incident will be sent to the Prosecutor for review.

An officer responded to the 100 block of Birch Street in reference to a fraud complaint. A report was taken for documentation purposes.

January 21
An officer was dispatched to Coshocton Avenue in reference to a suspicious person complaint. The individual was transported to KCH for care and treatment.

January 22
Units were dispatched to Wendy’s at 994 Coshocton Avenue for a male and female causing a disturbance. Upon arrival, an officer made contact with Makara A. Keaton who stated that she had a warrant. The officer verified Makara’s warrant with dispatch and they advised it was a good pick up. Makara was secured in handcuffs, in the rear position, gapped appropriately and double-locked. Makara was placed in the backseat of a patrol car and transported to the Knox County jail.
