December 23
Deputies responded to a call regarding a disabled vehicle parked in front of the complainant’s house. Deputies arrived on the scene at a residence on Danville-Amity Road. Deputies collected a statement and the vehicle was impounded due to it being a roadway hazard.

A complainant called the Knox County Sheriff’s Office and asked for a Deputy to take a report of a tree that had fallen on their work vehicle and their personal vehicle. A Deputy responded to the incident location on Kenyon Road. A statement was obtained from a witness and photos were taken of the damaged vehicles.

A complainant called the Knox County Sheriff’s Office to report that they had given their personal information to a stranger over the phone thinking it was a company they are familiar with. The complainant was concerned that they may become a victim of fraud and requested a report to be filed to document the incident.

December 25
Deputies were dispatched to a group home on South Norton Street in reference to a client that had cut themself. Prior to the Deputies’ arrival, the squad had arrived on the scene and transported to the client to Knox Community Hospital for treatment and evaluation.

December 26
Deputies were called to a report of a person in distress on Wooster Road. Deputies were able to make contact with the parties involved and were able to help the person under stress to obtain assistance. A report documenting the incident was taken.

December 27
Deputies responded to a theft complaint on Cotrell Road, Frazeysurg, Ohio 43822.
