December 7
A deputy spoke with a complainant concerning a possible protection order violation. The deputy collected evidence and completed a report for documentation.

A complainant arrived at the Knox County Sheriff’s Office to report blackmail that had taken place on Instagram. Deputies spoke with the complainant and filed a report that will be sent for investigation.

Deputies responded to a vandalism complainant. Deputies arrived at the complainant’s address on Highland Hills Road. The deputies collected a statement form and pictures. The complainant was advised that a report has been filed to document the incident.

A deputy was dispatched to the location on Wooster Road on a welfare check. The concern for the check was due to excessive alcohol consumption and making mention of wanting to die. Units responded and made contact with the individual that needed to be checked on.

December 8
A defendant was observed traveling at a speed that appeared to be greater than the posted speed limit. The defendant’s speed was checked by radar, tones and tracking and found to be over the posted speed limit. The defendant was stopped and was determined to be under the influence of alcohol. The defendant was arrested and taken to the Knox County Jail without incident.
