Offenses

November 2
A female reported vandalism to property that was parked at a residence on Calhoun Street. No suspects at this time. Report filed.

A male came into the Mount Vernon Police Department to report a missing phone.

November 3
An officer was dispatched to East Hamtramck Street in reference to a theft. Nothing further at this time.

an officer was dispatched to an Upland Terrace Drive residence for a noise complaint. Upon arrival, the officer made contact with the complainant who advised a neighbor was riding an ATV in the field behind her residence. The officer made contact with the individuals riding the ATV and verified that they had permission to ride in the field and advised them of the noise complaint. The complainant requested a report be taken.

November 4
A male reported a theft to the Mount Vernon Police Department. The complainant stated this Bostitch 6-gallon air compressor was taken from his property sometime overnight on 11/03/2022. Nothing further to report.

Units were dispatched to East High Street to take a report on criminal damaging. A report was taken and charges were filed. Nothing further.

An officer handled a burglary complaint over the phone.

Units responded to a residence on East Hamtramck Street in reference to a possible overdose.

November 5
An officer was dispatched to a facility on Yauger Road in reference to a misuse of a credit card complaint. This report will be forwarded to the City Law Director’s Office to review for charges.

An officer was dispatched to the Mount Vernon Police Department to speak with a female regarding fraud. A report was taken.

Officers responded to Bullock’s Five Point Drive Thru in reference to a trespassing call.
