Court of Appeals Upholds Verdict and Sexual Predator Classification for Taylor

The Fifth District Court of Appeals recently affirmed the guilty verdict and sexually violent predator specification for Adam P. Taylor. Taylor was convicted of gross sexual imposition in Knox County in 2017 and after his release was found guilty of two additional counts of gross sexual imposition in a bench trial in 2021. He was also convicted of a sexually violent predator specification carrying a maximum term of life in prison.
Taylor is serving a term of nine years to life in prison on the charges.
Prosecutor McConville handled both the trial and appeal in this case.
