MVHS senior Ben Bridges qualifies for the Division I State Golf tournament. Ben shot a one-over-par 73 at Apple Valley Golf Course and finished fourth at the D-I Central District Tournament. “It has been a goal of mine since Freshman year,” stated Bridges. Now three years later, he has punched his ticket to compete at the State Tournament at the OSU Scarlet Course in Columbus, Ohio.
“It is a tremendous accomplishment for Ben to qualify for the State Tournament. He is a very committed individual and has shown continual growth throughout his high school career. The Central District is a powerhouse in golf in Ohio, and I couldn’t be more honored that he will represent our school and our golf program at Ohio State next week. It’ll be a memorable way to cap off an extremely successful high school career.” Coach Anthony Savage.
