Offenses

October 5
An officer was dispatched to Yoakam Drive for a report of vandalism.

Units were dispatched to a fight at 201 North Mulberry Street (Mount Vernon Public Library) between 3 females. Upon arrival, an officer determined the situation to be a Domestic Violence situation. The
aggressor was placed under arrest and transported to the Knox County Jail.
Charges were filed.

Units were dispatched to the 200 block of Shirley Avenue for a disturbance with a male making threats with a knife. Upon arrival, units made contact with the male who was arrested and transported to the Knox County Jail.

October 6
an officer responded to Park National Bank located at 1 South Main Street, Mount Vernon, OH on a report of a male trying to cash a fake check. One male was arrested and transported to the Knox County Jail on felony charges. This report will be forwarded to the Knox County Prosecutor’s Office.

October 7
An officer responded to the Mount Vernon Police Department at 5 North Gay Street in reference to a possible theft report. A report was taken. Nothing further at this time.

October 8
An officer handled a fraud call at the Mount Vernon Police Department at 5 North Gay Street. This is currently under investigation.

October 9
Units were dispatched to Main Street in reference to a disturbance. The subject was arrested and transported to jail. Nothing further.

October 6

Kendra L. Connell was cited for 25mph except State Route outside business districts and alleys.
Darryn J. Barratt was cited for 25mph except State Route outside business districts and alleys.

Ana Layer was cited for expired license plates.
Chad E. Pack was cited for driving under an FRA suspension.

October 7

October 8
