Sept. 20

  • Theft – in the 200 block of East Walnut St.
  • Unsecured building – Market St.
  • Mia D. Albers of Danville was issued traffic citations for driving under suspension and for no license plate displayed

Sept. 21

  • Animal complaint – in the 16000 block of Brinkhaven Rd.
  • Conducted 5th grade DARE class

 Sept. 22

  • Assisted the Sheriff’s Office – in the 600 block of Kingsview Dr.
  • Unsecured building – North Market St.
  • Wendell H. Shenk of Utica was issued a traffic citation for speed

Sept. 23

  • Private property auto accident – in the 10 block of South Market St.
  • Checked on the well-being of a resident – in the 600 block of South Market St.

Sept. 24

  • Underage drinking charges will be filed against Roy A. Byler of Danville and a 17 yr. old male
  • Disturbance – in the 100 block of East Main St.
  • Assisted the Sheriff’s Office – in the 100 block of Grand Ridge Dr.

Sept. 25

  • 2 – Unsecured buildings – Market St.
  • Parking complaint – Locust Alley, Brinkhaven
  • Derek T. Brown of Danville was issued a traffic citation for an expired license plate

Sept. 26

  • Christian A. Rodrigue Ocasio of Wadsworth was issued a traffic citation for an obstructed license plate
  • Unsecured building – Market St.
  • Assisted the Sheriff’s Office on a domestic violence call – in the 500 block of Floral Valley West

Sept. 27

  • Animal complaint – in the 100 block of East Washington St.
  • The K-9 unit did a sweep of a vehicle to detect the presence of illegal drugs/contraband w/pos. hit – Market St.
  • K-9 unit conducted a K-9 sweep of the High School and High School parking lot. No contraband located
  • Andrew J. Stutzman of Holmesville was issued a traffic citation for speed
  • Jason M. Schrock of Danville was issued traffic citations for OVI, parking on the roadway, and an open container in a vehicle
  • Suspicious person – Village Park
  • Auto accident involving a vehicle driven by Carson Vernon of Danville striking another vehicle. Carson was issued a traffic citation for failure to yield while turning left – in the 600 block of South Market St.

Sept. 28

  • Jennifer L. Miller of Bladensburg was issued a traffic citation for an expired driver’s license
  • Report of a run-a-way juvenile. Later located – West Main St.
  • Suspicious vehicle – Park area, Brinkhaven
  • DPD units along with other county law enforcement agencies conducted traffic drug interdiction patrol in the county
  • Check fraud – in the 13000 block of Howard-Danville Rd.

Sept. 29

  • Assisted the Sheriff’s Office on a firearms-involved call – in the 600 block of Kings Beach Dr.
  • Charles M. Posey Jr. of Danville was issued traffic citations for driving under suspension and for no license plate light
  • Hanna S. Kinginger of Gambier was issued a traffic citation for failure to register plates
  • Johnathan K. Snyder of Columbus was issued traffic citations for driving under suspension and display of temp. plate violation
  • Parking complaint – in the 800 block of South Market St.
  • Parking complaint – in the 400 block of South Market St.

Sept. 30

  • Breaking & entering – in the 28000 block of Cavallo Rd.
  • Stephanie A. Stulka of Mount Vernon was issued a traffic citation for the display of temp. plate violation
  • Suspicious vehicle – in the 14000 block of Millersburg Rd.
