September 15
A complainant requested a welfare check on a suicidal male. Deputies responded and made contact with the male. The male was transported to the hospital for a mandatory mental health evaluation. At the hospital, the male was arrested for disorderly conduct in a medical facility and transported to the Knox County Jail without further incident.

A complainant advised that someone stole her daughter’s cell phone at Centerburg High School. The phone was entered into LEADS as stolen.

Deputies were dispatched to Apple Valley on a non-injury accident. The complainant stated his vehicle’s parking brake had failed, causing it to roll down the hill running into the lake. Once on scene, deputies could see that the vehicle had run down the hill and hit a rock sending the car airborne and causing it to hit a pontoon boat. The car ended up on its top in the water. There was no one in the vehicle at the time of the incident. Nothing further at this time.

A deputy was dispatched to Danville-Jelloway Road on a theft from vehicle call. The complainant stated after starting his vehicle, he noticed that it was louder than normal. The complainant looked under his vehicle and noticed that his catalytic converter had been removed from his vehicle. The complainant is from out of town and wanted a report done. A report was taken to document the incident. Nothing further at this time.

A complainant advised that an unknown individual drove into his yard and got stuck. Another unknown vehicle came to pull that vehicle out and both vehicles caused ruts in the complainant’s yard. The suspect is unknown.
