August 12
A deputy was dispatched to a residence on Wooster Road in Amity, Ohio on a burglary incident. The deputy arrived on the scene and collected a written statement. A report was started to document the incident. The complainant advised he would call back in when he was able to get into his house to see if anything had been stolen.

August 13
A complainant called to report an assault. Deputies responded, statements were collected and a report was completed to be sent to the City Law Director for review.

A complainant called to report an intoxicated male at a campground causing a disturbance with other campers. Deputies responded and the male was arrested and transported to the Knox County Jail without incident. A report was completed for documentation and for court.

Knox County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to an address on Avalon Road in reference to a male who was being combative with medical facility staff. Upon arrival, deputies determined the male was having a mental health crisis and the male was taken to Knox Community Hospital for further evaluation.

August 14
Deputies received a call regarding fraud. Deputies spoke with the complainant. The complainant was given advice and advised a report has been made to document the incident.

August 15
A deputy was advised of a theft complaint that occurred at Kenyon College involving a storage container and a vehicle. The deputy was advised that tools were stolen and a company vehicle was stolen but the vehicle had been recovered. The deputy responded to the area and made contact with the complainant.
