Welcome to new KTC staff member Jamie Seher! She is teaching in our LPN to RN Transition program. She comes to us from the cardiac unit at Knox Community Hospital, where she was also a medical-surgical nurse, which gave her experience with a wide range of specialties from preoperative to palliative care. Jamie earned a BSN from Indiana Wesleyan University and is currently completing her MSN at Bethel University.
Her favorite thing about teaching is the relationships that are formed through education, and helping students achieve their goals. To those considering nursing school, Jamie says: “It’s a lot of hard work up front but it prepares you for the job ahead. It’s a very rewarding career path.”
