Deputies were dispatched to a roadside domestic violence incident near the intersection of Columbus Road and Lytle Road. Deputies arrived on the scene and completed an investigation. Subsequent to the investigation the female involved was arrested and transported to the Knox County Jail and released into the custody of jail staff.

A complainant was digging in her backyard and located an old mortar. The Columbus Bomb Squad arrived and took possession of the mortar. It was determined the mortar is inactive. A report is being done for documentation.

A deputy was advised by dispatch a female complainant wished to report a telecommunications harassment incident by phone. The deputy spoke with the complainant by phone and began an investigation. The deputy collected written statements from both individuals involved as well as other evidence. The report will be sent to the City Law Director for review.

A complainant advised her identity may be at risk due to a scam email she filled out for a potential scholarship.

A complainant advised a person(s) had cut fiber optic wire at a job site located on Springwater Drive. A report was taken on the complainant’s behalf.
