Ohio Department of Aging to host free EXPO on Senior Day, Aug. 2
Columbus, Ohio – The Ohio Department of Aging (ODA) will host the “Well Beyond 60!” EXPO during Senior Day at the Ohio State Fair on Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Now in its sixth year, the EXPO will feature more than 20 partners offering health and wellness screenings and demonstrations, COVID-19 vaccines and boosters, nutrition information, and more. “We are excited to bring the Well Beyond 60! EXPO back live and in person to the Ohio State Fair,” said ODA Director Ursel J. McElroy. “After a few years away, ODA and our partners look forward to bringing the benefits of the EXPO to fairgoers.”
The EXPO is free with fair admission. Parking is free and admission to the fair is free for seniors 60 years of age and over on Aug. 2. The fair is also offering a free Senior Day concert presented by AARP. The Drifters will perform at 1 p.m. in the Celeste Center.
