Wildlife Wednesday – The Gray Rat Snake

Let’s slither, scoot and slide on in to #WildlifeWednesday and learn about the gray rat snake!  It’s Ohio’s largest snake and is typically 4-6’ long when mature. Gray rat snakes are a forest-dwelling species that are accomplished climbers. They have a beautiful pattern produced by coloration of the skin between the scales.
