July 2
Deputies were notified of a civil matter at a campsite. The complainant stated he had a no contact order with his girlfriend. He stated she removed items from the campsite they stay at. A report was taken for documentation purposes. Nothing further.

A complainant stated that some person(s) had broken into his rental property which is in the process of being renovated. A report was made on the complainant’s behalf.

July 3
A complainant advised that the suspect stole several pops from the store and left . A report was filed.

Knox County Sheriff’s Office deputies were advised of a possible overdose that occurred at an unknown location. Deputies responded to Knox Community Hospital and conducted an investigation.

A deputy was dispatched to the area near the Church of God of Bladensburg on a possible disturbance. The complainant called in stating that two individual’s on a side by side were barking and harassing a woman and her daughter causing them to feel that physical harm may be caused to them. The individuals had fled the area prior to deputies arriving. Statements were collected and a report was taken for documentation purposes, due to the victim’s not wanting to pursue criminal charges at this time.

July 4
Deputies were dispatched on a disturbance. The complainant stated that she did not feel safe at her job and feared for her safety. A report was made for documentation purposes. Nothing further at this time.

A complainant advised there has been damage to her residence. She advised there is damage to a window and to the air conditioning unit.

Deputies responded to a drug overdose that occurred on Cavallo Drive, Danville OH. Deputies arrived on the scene. Medics transported the individual to Knox Community Hospital. Deputies gathered evidence and cleared the scene.

July 5
A complainant contacted Knox County Sheriff’s Office regarding telecommunications harassment. A deputy made contact and a report was taken.

Deputies were dispatched to Dollar General on North Sandusky in Mount Vernon, Ohio, on a possible shoplifting call. Upon arrival, deputies spoke with the store clerk. They advised that they confronted an individual about a possible shoplifting. The suspect then took off running out of the store and threatened to come back and beat the clerk up. The clerk was not able to get any video or have proof of what may have been taken. The clerk advised he would speak with the manager and get video and list of missing items at a later date.

A deputy was advised of a theft complaint that occurred on East Woodside Drive. The complainant/victim was transferred to the detective and contact was made by phone. A report was filed for theft.

The Knox Count Parks Department turned in a set of keys that had been found on June 27, 2022. They had been left on a park bench at the Kokosing Gap Trail. They were placed in Evidence for safekeeping.

A complainant contacted the Knox County Sheriff’s Office regarding a private property crash. A deputy arrived and a report was taken.
