June 6
Deputies were dispatched to a Centerburg residence on a domestic violence call. Upon arrival, deputies spoke with all involved individuals. Statements were collected, and a report was sent to the Mount Vernon City Law Director for review of charges. An individual was also trespassed from the residence and advised that if they returned they could be arrested.

Unit 1 was traveling Northbound on East Main Street when they approached the intersection and made a left turn onto North Hartford Avenue striking the rear boat trailer of Unit 2.

Unit 1 was driving south on Wooster Road near Carson Road and struck a deer in the roadway.

June 7
Deputies observed two female juveniles run away from them in the area of Martinsburg Road and South West Street in Martinsburg. Deputies stopped the juveniles and identified them before taking them back to their parents/guardians and releasing them.

Deputies with the Knox County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to an address on South West Street in Martinsburg on the report of a suspicious person/prowler. The caller stated she believed a family member was stalking her at her residence and requested the area checked and a report be completed for documentation. The caller was referred to the court to file a civil protection order.
