May 18
Deputies were dispatched to a Mount Vernon residence on a case of Identity Fraud. The complainant advised that they had received a notice from a collection agency, and another bill from an electric company saying they owed money on a bill. The complainant advised they are disabled and have nothing to do with the town of Humble, Texas, where the charges originated. A report was taken for documentation.

A deputy was dispatched to a trespassing complaint on College Park Street. Dispatch advised that a subject was caught walking inside of Kenyon College buildings. The deputy responded and made contact with the complainant and suspect.

May 19
A traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle for a moving violation on Clinton Street near High Street in the City of Mount Vernon. After the vehicle came to a stop the male driver exited his vehicle and took off running away from officers. The suspect, Tony Frary, was arrested several blocks away. Frary is being charged with Obstructing Official Business.

A complainant called to report that her daughter was having thoughts of self-harm and/or suicide. A deputy responded and spoke with both parties. The deputy recommended that the mother take her daughter to the hospital for evaluation. The Mother and Daughter were both provided a 2-1-1 card and information about CIT officers. The mother advised that she would take her daughter to the hospital for evaluation and a report was completed for documentation.

Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Baldwin Drive, Howard, Ohio 43028. The original complaint was of theft. When the deputy arrived on the scene they began their theft investigation. That investigation led to a possible domestic violence incident between a parent and a child. Verbal statements were collected from all involved parties and this report will be forwarded to the detective’s division and child protective services.

A victim/complainant called to report that he and his wife were involved in a verbal altercation that turned physical. Deputies responded and a report was taken to be forwarded to the City Law Director for review.

A complainant called to report that her son that lives in the house had struck her 2 times in the face during an argument.

A complainant called to report that the Involved Party was yelling and throwing things from his apartment deck and disturbing others.
