April 16
A complainant contacted the Knox County Sheriff’s Office regarding a domestic violence incident.

Dispatch was notified of a possible stalking. A complainant advised that they would like to make a report and would like to speak with a deputy. The complainant was transferred to the Sheriff’s office where they were able to speak with a deputy over the phone. The complainant wanted a report taken for documentation purposes.

A complainant reported an incident of trespassing on his property.

April 17
Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Roosevelt Avenue on a possible disturbance. A complainant called in stating that her 12-year-old son was being unruly and damaged items inside the residence. After
contacting the on-call Juvenile Probation Officer, they advised that the juvenile would be placed under arrest and transported to the Muskingum Juvenile Detention Facility.

A complainant contacted the Knox County Sheriff’s Office regarding a family member who made comments of harming themselves. A Deputy made contact with the complainant and a report was taken.

Deputies received a call regarding a suspicious vehicle on East Main Street, Danville OH. The caller advised that a silver Chevy pickup truck would drive slowly and park by the residence. Deputies arrived on the scene and spoke with the complainant. The driver of the pickup waved and stared at the caller’s child. The complainant wants a report filed to document the incident.

Deputies were dispatched to a residence on East Main Street in Centerburg on a possible disturbance. A complainant called in stating that her daughter was banging on the windows and door to the residence
trying to gain entry inside and needed deputies to respond. The complainant also stated that the daughter is not allowed to be at this address. The deputies were unable to locate the daughter when they arrived on the scene, but spoke to the complainant and advice was given. Drug Paraphernalia was also located near the residence, which was seized for disposal.

Deputies were dispatched to an active domestic violence incident at a residence on Hampshire Road Utica, Ohio 43080. Deputies arrived on the scene and separated both parties. Deputies began their investigation.
Photographs were collected as well as verbal statements from both parties and witnesses. The female had strangulation marks on both sides of her neck from the male. The male half, Robert K. Zirkler, was arrested for domestic violence and transported to the Knox County Jail.

April 18
A victim of a catalytic converter theft called dispatch to report that it was taken from an address on Sharp Road. There are no leads at this time.
