Assisted a citizen – in the 300 block of North St.
The K-9 unit assisted the Mt. Vernon PD by conducting a sweep of a vehicle for the detection of illegal drugs/contraband w/negative hit – Norton St.

April 7
The DARE officer conducted two DARE classes for the first-grade students
Officer dealt with hazardous material (syringe needles) – found in the 800 block of South Market St.
The K-9 unit assisted the Knox County Sheriff’s Office by conducting a sweep of a vehicle for the detection of illegal drugs/contraband w/positive hit – in the 1500 block of Coshocton Ave.

Loose horse – in the 200 block of East Walnut St.
Assisted a motorist with a disabled vehicle – Millersburg Rd., Brinkhaven
Report of an intoxicated person walking on roadway – Brinkhaven Rd.
Disturbance – North Alley, Brinkhaven

Officer observed an unattended campfire and extinguished the fire – Bridge of Dreams, Brinkhaven
