Light Ohio Blue

This year’s campaign encompassing every corner of our great state is rapidly approaching. The annual campaign comes on the heels of the tragic loss of Bluffton Police Officer Dominic Francis. During this time, please remember Officer Francis and all our fallen officers and remember and support their families at home as well their families at their agencies. The pillars of the campaign of Honor (our fallen law enforcement officers and their families) and Support (currently serving law enforcement personnel and their families). The ability for anyone to participate is by the simplicity of the campaign allowing anyone to be involved by placing a visible blue light or ribbon outside your home indicating you are remembering Ohio’s fallen law enforcement officers.

Those who choose to participate in the Light Ohio Blue campaign in our community will also be showing your memory of Danville’s own fallen officer Thomas Cottrell whose EOW came on January 17, 2016.
